Hyperspectral imaging captures information across 100s of spectral bands, stretching beyond the visible spectrum into the infrared. By generating voluminous 1 datasets capable of classifying unique spectral signatures for surface materials, hyperspectral imagery unearths insights that are invisible to existing satellite sensors. 2 The fine wavelength resolution unlocks a wide array of applications in the environmental, agricultural, energy, and mining sectors, amongst others.
